Hannah was a student of ours in the choral program at Washington High School where Matthew taught vocal music and I was the accompanist. In all of the students we have worked with over the years, Hannah‘s light shines brightly in our minds and hearts. She was an amazing musician, brilliant scholar, dedicated leader of our jazz choir, A Slice of Jazz, and a kind soul. I wanted to share this song in which she soloed with the 2009 Iowa All State Jazz Choir. I hope it provides comfort to those who knew her. She will be missed. In deepest sympathy, Shelly and Matthew
